I am a professor of economics at Koc University. In my research, I use lab and field experiments to study questions in the economics of education, gender, preferences, and information, with both adults and children. Another part of my agenda aims at understanding the neural basis of economic behavior. I am currently the PI on an ERC Consolidator Grant (2020-2025), on large-scale interventions on non-cognitive skills and attitudes in the educational environment.
